| 自己紹介・アピール |
担当授業「コンピュータ」では，プログラミング言語を用いてプログラムをつくり，手計算のかわりにコンピュータに計算させたり実験させたりします。そのほかの担当科目では，広義の情報数学に含まれるいくつかの
数学の分野（離散・組合せ幾何，”計算”数学，グラフ理論，微分方程式，等）を講義します。
他の授業科目では扱わない，でも面白い数学，という気分でやっています。3年次以降の研究室セミナーでは，私と学生の興味に応じて（私の担当分野や専門にこだわらず）いろんな分野の本を選び，勉強しています。 |

| 離散可積分系と呼ばれる力学系の研究; もっと具体的には「箱と玉の系」と呼ばれるセル・オートマトン(離散力学系とみなせる)の数理(保存量, 周期境界条件を課した系の状態の周期, 可解格子模型との関係, など)をいろいろ調べている. |
